We’ve renamed a few features associated with Canvs Nets & Codes:
- Canvs Summary (formerly “Nets & Codes”)
- AI Powered Codes & Nets (formerly “Autocodes”)
- Rule-Based Codes & Nets (formerly "Rule Codes")
- Manual Codes & Nets (formerly "User Codes")
What is my Canvs Summary?
Canvs Summary is a comprehensive overview of the emotional, topical, and attribute themes found in a given dataset. We call each theme a “code” and categorize those themes with “nets.”
What is included in my Canvs Summary?
Canvs Summary includes all of the Nets & Codes on a dataset:
Canvs Codes are emotional, topical, and attribute themes identified.
Canvs Nets are categories or groups in which we organize our codes.
Each Code, and its respective Net, is created one of three ways:
AI Powered: Nets & Codes automatically generated by Canvs AI algorithms
Rule-Based: Nets & Codes automatically generated by User rules applied at upload
Manual: Nets & Codes edited or created by a User after upload
Flagged for Data Cleaning
Canvs automatically detects and groups together “Likely Spam” “No Answer” and “Unsure” verbatims via AI Powered codes. These codes receive the Net “Flagged.”
Flagged for Data Cleaning codes can be displayed or hidden using the MRX Preferences panel.
Rule-Based and Manual codes assigned the net “Flagged” are also considered Flagged for Data Cleaning.
How can I change which Nets & Codes I see in my Canvs Summary?
In the MRX Preferences panel, Users can control which types of codes they want to hide or display in their analysis. Learn more about MRX User Preferences here.
