To integrate Decipher Datasets into Canvs, please follow these outlined steps below.
You will first need access to your Decipher API Credentials. You can find these in your Decipher account through the following steps:
Login to Decipher
Choose 'API Access' from your profile icon in top right corner
Select 'Create new API key' to create a new key
Your server should appear in the URL before ".decipherinc.com"
If your url does not contain ".decipherinc.com", your server is the part of the url between the protocol (e.g. http://) and the following forward slash (/)
In Canvs, you will begin by Uploading either via the standard Upload Data button on the MRX Management Page or through our "Add Data" options if adding additional waves.
To learn more about Trackers and Waves, read here.
You will then be asked to choose your Upload Source. Click on Import and then the arrow next to Decipher.
Next, you will be asked to enter your API Credentials. Enter in your Server and your Token. Click on Show my Surveys afterward.
You will be presented with a drop-down of your available Decipher datasets.
Select the dataset which you want to Upload into Canvs. You will also be able to see the # of Open Ends the file has as well as the Date Created. Click on Import.
You will then go through the Standard Upload process with your imported Decipher file.
Note, some fields are specifically ignored, including email address, IP address, Geo location, and similar as Canvs looks to avoid PII that isn't necessary for processing or storage.
Select your Header row, Open-Ended columns, Filters, Details, etc, to finish up the Uploading process.

You can now also view and filter by Source (Uploaded from device, via Qualtrics, Decipher, or API) on the MRX Management page.
To add as a column on your MRX Management page, click on the three dots (...) and make sure Source is checked.
To filter by Source, click on the "Add Filters" button and then select "Source."
To update your Decipher settings inside Canvs, or remove them, simply go to your Profile icon at the top right and select your 'Name / email' as shown at the top of the menu. You can also access these credentials under "Integrations".
You will see listed under the "Integrations" tab, your Server and your Token.
