The Prompt Library in Asa Pro helps you streamline your workflow by saving your favorite prompts for future use. Whether you’re working solo or collaborating with a team, the library makes it easy to maintain consistency, save time, and keep your research conversations organized.
With the Prompt Library, you can:
Save prompts during a session for future use.
Label and categorize prompts to stay organized.
Reuse prompts with a single click.
Share prompts across your organization.
Search and filter saved prompts to quickly find what is needed.
Edit or delete saved prompts at any time.
Saving a Prompt
To save a prompt during an active session:
Click the Save icon next to the prompt (beside the Copy button).
In the Save Prompt modal:
Add a label to describe or categorize the prompt
(Optional) Choose an emoji to display with the label
Edit the prompt text if needed
Set visibility:
Only me (private to you)
Organization (shared with your team)
Click Save. The prompt will appear in your Prompt Library based on the visibility setting.
Accessing the Prompt Library
To open the library:
Click the Prompt Library icon (three horizontal lines to the left of the input bar)
Or press the spacebar when the input field is empty
If you haven’t saved any prompts yet, you’ll see an empty state inviting you to get started.
Navigating Saved Prompts
Use your arrow keys to move through the list
Press ESC to close the library
A scrollbar appears if your prompt list is long
Shortcut guidance appears at the top of the library
Editing or Deleting Prompts
To manage saved prompts:
Open the Prompt Library and click the pencil icon in the top-right corner
To edit a prompt, click the pencil next to the label, make changes, and click Done
To delete a prompt, click the trash can next to the label and confirm

Filter by visibility: Canvs, Organization, or My prompts

While the Prompt Library is open, start typing in the input field
Prompts will filter automatically as you type
Using a Saved Prompt
To use a saved prompt:
Open the Prompt Library
Select the prompt you want to use
It will appear in the input field
Press Enter or click Send to run it
